Nurse Practitioner Or Physician AssistantA busy urgent care center is seeking an experienced and compassionate nurse practitioner (np) or physician assistant (pa) to join their team. This position requires prior urgent care and family medicine experience, along with proficiency in basic pediatric care. The role involves providing high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must have a current medicaid id and be available for the required shifts (sunday–thursday 2:00–10:00 pm or 3:00–11:00 pm, and fridays 10:00–5:00 pm per diem).responsibilities:evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of acute and non-emergency conditions for all age groups.order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and lab results.perform minor procedures (e.g., wound care, sutures, splinting) and administer appropriate treatments.collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care.skills:strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic abilities.excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families.ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.competence in electronic health record (ehr) systems and accurate documentation.requirements:licensed nurse practitioner (np) or physician assistant (pa).active medicaid id (required).experience in urgent care or family medicine settings.flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts (s–t 2–10 pm or 3–11 pm, fridays 10–5 pm per diem).location: brooklyn, ny |hours: s–t 2–10 pm or 3–11 pm, fridays 10–5 pm per diem. |salary: doe |job#979 |
