Obstetrics & Gynecology, LOCUMS NP/PA Outpatient Women's Health Provider Needed in Greenville, NC

Job Description

ECU Health Physicians and East Carolina Universitys Brody School of Medicine are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide outpatient care at ECU Health Physicians Womens Care located in Greenville, North Carolina. Experienced applicants with GYN experience are preferred.

Coverage Needed as soon as credentialed - 12/31/2026, willing to extend beyond this date based on clinic need

Scheduled/hours: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM.  Schedule starts at 7:50 AM

Highlights:

• Outpatient only
• No Call
• BLS required
• Established practice inclusive of 27 physicians and 9 Advanced Practice Providers
• Average number of patients per day per provider: 20-22
• Clinic scheduling: 30-minute appointments for new patients/15-minute appointments for returning patients.  Typical day includes 2 new patient slots per half day.
• Will the LT respond to codes: Yes
• Will the LT be expected to serve as backup in ER: No

Procedures and Clinical Expectations:

• Colposcopy and LEEP procedures, as well as other simple in office GYN procedures if adequately experienced to do so
• Routine GYN, annual visits, postpartum visits, abnormal uterine bleeding, post-menopausal bleeding, and non-complex ovarian cysts
