About RHA Robert Hall Architects is seeking a talented Architectural Designer / Job Captain to support multifamily and residential projects. This position will begin as a 90‑day consultant engagement with the potential to transition into a full‑time role based on performance, mutual fit, and firm workload. Revit proficiency is required. You’ll work directly with the Principal Architect and Design Lead while helping lead projects through design, permitting, and construction. Responsibilities Develop architectural designs and construction documents Coordinate structural, civil, MEP, and other consultants Prepare permit and construction document sets Assist with zoning analysis, code research, and permitting Participate in client and consultant meetings Support construction administration activities Help maintain drawing standards and quality control Take ownership of assigned projects and tasks Qualifications Required 4-6 years of architectural experience Strong residential and ADU experience Proficiency in Revit Experience preparing permit and construction document sets Experience coordinating consultants Understanding of California residential codes Strong communication and organizational skills Preferred Multifamily experience Construction administration experience Progress toward architectural licensure Benefits & Perks 401(k) retirement plan with company match Paid holidays, PTO, and sick time Hybrid work flexibility Half‑day Fridays Architectural licensure support, including exam reimbursement Professional development and industry association memberships Business development incentive program Direct mentorship from firm leadership Why Join RHA?
