Job Summary

We are seeking a Maintenance Associate to join the team on the day shift. Working under general supervision, the Shop Technician will perform moderately complex and intricate equipment operations, maintenance, testing, repair, and related shop processes.

Job Description

• Perform equipment repair, maintenance, testing, and shop-related operations.
• Work independently and effectively in an unsupervised environment.
  
• Follow all company and site-specific safety policies and requirements.
  
• Proactively identify and address unsafe behaviors and conditions.
  
• Maintain a strong safety mindset and promote safe work practices among coworkers.
  
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
  
• Use a computer to communicate, create, access, and maintain information.
  
• Interact politely and professionally with customers, coworkers, and other personnel.
  
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.

Skills Required

• Ability to complete required documentation.
• Ability to repair equipment.
• Understanding of testing equipment and testing criteria.
• Working knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to work safely and independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Preferred Qualifications

• The following experience and skills are strongly valued:
• Basic electrical knowledge or experience, particularly due to the safety-sensitive nature of the position.
• Forklift experience.
• Mechanical aptitude or hands-on mechanical experience.
• Automotive, diesel, shop, industrial, or mechanical background.
• Experience troubleshooting or repairing mechanical equipment.
• Strong safety awareness and willingness to follow strict safety standards.

Education

• Requi red: High School Diploma or GED required.

Additional requirements

• Sh i ft: 7 AM–7 PM  11 days on / 3 days off, every other Sat/Sun/Mon

Pay rate

• $20 - $23 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
