Licensed Irrigation Technician

Roundtree Landscaping is a growing landscape design/build/maintenance company located in Dallas. We are currently seeking an energetic, highly motivated, and and experienced Licensed Irrigation Technician to join our team immediately.

Does this sound like you?You have a strong interest in the lawn and landscape industry and you’re looking for a company where you can grow. You’re especially interested in water and how to manage it within a landscape setting. You’ve spent at least five years working on a variety of systems and are comfortable programing a variety of controllers.

You understand that not all landscapes, or irrigation systems, are the same. Your experience has helped you learn the different water needs of a variety of landscape plants and types of turf grass. Irrigation work can be muddy: You’re not afraid to get dirty! You enjoy working with a crew and are able to supervise, self-motivate, and lead by example while working with them.

You enjoy communicating in a professional manner directly with customers when you’re on their property; and you are also good with follow-through with their assigned company sales person. Customer complaints? They don’t scare you; in fact you see them as an opportunity to make improvements and solidify customer loyalty. You follow up quickly with your supervisor to make sure issues are taken care of.

You have industry certifications and they are up to date. You’re willing to participate in ongoing education to further your skills and achieve certifications. You may be bi-lingual (English/Spanish) and if so that is a valuable skill.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years irrigation experience
• Licensed Irrigator or Irrigation Technician
• Must possess knowledge of water requirements for different plants and types of grasses
• Professional communication and customer service skills  
• Ability to supervise, self-motivate, and lead by example while working hands on with other team members
• Valid TX drivers license required with a clean driving record
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
