This travel RN role requires cross-unit float coverage across multiple units to support patient care needs.

- Shift: 3x12 Night Shifts (7:00 pm–7:30 am)
- Holidays and every other weekend rotations; 2 on-call shifts per four weeks
- Cross-trained to float among ICU, ER, Med/Surg, and MS/MST units
- Active NYS RN license and BSN required

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across multiple inpatient units as a float RN
- Perform comprehensive assessments, monitor vital signs, and recognize decompensation early
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor for adverse reactions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and document care in the electronic medical record
- Respond to acute changes in patient condition and escalate promptly
- Support patient and family education, discharge planning, and care coordination

Requirements
- Licensure: Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse license
- Education: BSN required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS through American Heart Association or the RQI system; NIHSS required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Critical Care units
- Additional: Cross-training to float to ICU/ER/MS/MST; ability to work across acute care settings
- Other: Basic Coronary Care knowledge within 6 months of hire; CPI certification within 90 days of hire
