Accountant

Location: Fargo, ND

Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our growing team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, completing month-end accounting activities, preparing financial reports, and supporting budgeting and audit processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of accounting principles, and a commitment to continuous process improvement.

• Perform regular cash reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare month-end journal entries and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements.
• Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and audit activities.
• Prepare various financial reports, requests, and supporting schedules as needed.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on accounting and finance-related projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and strengthen controls.
• Maintain professional communication with management, business partners, and team members.
• Support special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Fargo, ND.

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $55000.00/yr.
