Travel Registered Nurse - Postpartum - 7P to 7A

Location: Wichita, KS

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse with at least one year of current acute care Postpartum experience. You will be joining our team in a birthing center environment that emphasizes patient care and support for new mothers. This role requires a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a busy setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in the Postpartum unit, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Monitor vital signs and fetal health, utilizing advanced equipment such as Welch Allen vitals machines and CPN monitors.
• Assist with post-operative care for patients undergoing gynecological and urogynecology surgeries.
• Facilitate fetal monitoring and manage high-risk pregnancies requiring hospitalization.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to new moms and their infants.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care Postpartum experience.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification preferred.
• Experience in OB, med-surg, or GYN areas is a plus.
