Job Title

Travel RN – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Weekend and holiday rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 19-bed Emergency Department with a 1:5 patient ratio
• Perform procedures including moderate sedation, central line placement, chest tube placement, IV insertion, lab draws, POC testing, EKGs, and respiratory treatments
• Operate and monitor equipment including GE Monitors, Lucas 3, Glidescope, EV 1000, and Level 1 infuser
• Document patient care using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Uphold patient experience standards including whiteboard usage, keeping patients informed, and ensuring patients and families feel cared for
• Collaborate with ED Techs, AMETs, and Paramedics as part of the care team

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2–3 years of Emergency Department experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and CPI (must be obtained within 30 days of start)
• TNCC required
• Ability to participate in weekend and holiday rotation
• Dark blue scrubs required as dress code

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a trauma-level emergency environment
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
• Experience with moderate sedation and advanced ED procedures
