The position demands adherence to safety standards and requires operation and maintenance of imaging equipment.High School Diploma or GED Graduate of an accredited radiography school or hospital-based program NY State DOH Licensure or Limited Permit ARRT registered (RT) 40 hours of mammography training BLS certification through the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire Radiation dose pledge completion during orientationMust pass advanced mammography certification within 1 year of hire Continuing education: 24 ECE credits over two years 15 category 1 CEU in mammography within 36 months Experience in quality assurance and equipment calibration Familiarity with patient care across various age groups Ability to work holidays, overtime, or different shifts if needed Professional and courteous communication skills
