Job Details Location: 165 Somerset Street, New Brunswick, NJ 08901 Facility: RWJ New Brunswick Department: O/P Treatment Area CINJ Shift: Day Schedule: Part‑time (20 hours per week) Pay Range: $47.85 - $71.72 per hour Job Overview RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for our Outpatient Adult Infusion – O/P Treatment Area at the Morris Cancer Center in the New Brunswick campus. Qualifications Required: BSN At least 1 year of Oncology RN experience ONS Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Certification required or must be obtained prior to start date At least 1 year working as RN in an oncology setting administering chemotherapy Knowledge and hands‑on experience with chemotherapy regimens, safe handling and infusion nursing practice Preferred: At least 2–3 years of Oncology RN experience OCN required or obtained within 1 year of hire Outpatient oncology infusion RN experience strongly preferred Certifications & Licenses Required BLS and ACLS certification Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License Scheduling Requirements Day Shift, 20 hours per week Monday to Friday with an occasional Saturday (1 per month) Hours: 7 AM – 5:30 PM and one late shift 9 AM – 7:30 PM per week Part‑time Essential Functions Provides nursing care within scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards. Ensures safety in practice and applies evidence‑based practice principles. Reports identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors. Possesses knowledge of the patient population served. Supervises and delegates tasks to appropriate team members and collaborates with other patient care providers. Sets and evaluates priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement. Utilizes the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and individualizes the plan of care for specific patients.
