Physical Therapist (PT) – Flexible/PRN | San Antonio, TXJoin a neuro rehab team delivering 1:1 care in real-world settings with flexible scheduling, clinical autonomy, and meaningful functional outcomes.The Rehab Without Walls Difference:Deliver 1:1 neuro rehab beyond traditional settings, providing care in real-world environmentsTreat neurologic and complex rehab clients (CVA, TBI, SCI) focused on functional recovery and independence in the home & communityHelp clients meet their goals & rebuild daily life skills —while you practice with greater autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balanceWhat You'll Receive:Continuity of Care as the Primary Therapist from evaluation to discharge (no OASIS)Flexible schedule you design (no weekend shifts)Paid per hour (not PPV-based model)Drive time paid at clinical rate + mileage reimbursementTeam collaboration & co-treat opportunitiesGrowth and advancement opportunitiesEducational program accessResponsibilitiesWhat you will do: Responsibilities listed include but not limited to:Perform evaluations and develop treatment plansRegularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferencesPerform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resourcesCommunicate patient's needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services and family membersCommunicates with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care and enhance patient outcomesQualificationsWhat you will need:Minimum of bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from a college or university with accredited Physical Therapy programCurrent, unrestricted license as Physical Therapist by state in which practicingCurrent Basic Life Support or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification in accordance state regulationsA minimum of one year's work experience as a physical therapist preferredDemonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injuryCommunicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactionsAbility to lift 50 poundsMoving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety proceduresDuties require fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/standing for extended periodsAdditional physical requirements include: pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at timesA health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, depending on the specific location policy, local or state regulations to verify that he/she is physically capable of performing assigned duties with or without reasonable accommodationsAbout Our Line of BusinessRehab Without Walls, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is a revolutionary neurorehabilitation program that moves individuals outside the walls of institutional settings and into their natural home and community environment through a continuum of care.
