Phlebotomist- Float
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a float phlebotomist to perform blood collections and specimen processing across multiple Ocean County locations in New Jersey. This role offers schedule flexibility with weekday hours between 7am–10pm and one weekend shift monthly, plus opportunities to develop diverse clinical experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections from patients of all ages
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Accurately enter patient data and maintain specimen information logs
- Prepare collected specimens for laboratory testing and analysis
- Provide customer service and administrative support; travel between assigned sites as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 1 year phlebotomy experience or completed accredited training program
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass color blindness screening test
- At least 21 years old
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Capability to work independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision
