Senior Manager-Cybersecurity

Abbott seeks a Senior Manager of Cybersecurity to lead product and enterprise security strategies across the organization's healthcare portfolio. The role involves developing cybersecurity programs, managing compliance efforts, mentoring teams, and mitigating risks across product development, manufacturing, and IT operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute divisional product cybersecurity strategy, roadmap, and secure SDLC practices
• Lead product security risk assessments, threat modeling, testing, and post-market vulnerability management
• Drive compliance efforts for FDA requirements, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and conduct customer security assessments
• Collaborate with IT and manufacturing teams to assess enterprise and OT security risks and drive remediation
• Mentor cybersecurity professionals and support incident response preparedness across manufacturing and enterprise environments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Security, Risk Management, Computer Science, or related field
• 10–12 years of cybersecurity experience with 5+ years leading teams or strategic initiatives
• Solid understanding of product security, threat modeling, and risk management in medical devices
• Familiarity with FDA cybersecurity guidance for medical devices and connected healthcare products
• Knowledge of NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, EU DPD, HIPAA/HITECH, and related regulatory frameworks
• At least one professional certification: CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, CPP, or CFE
