Savard is hiring an experienced CNC Machinist in Broussard, LA!
We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist with experience setting up and operating vertical mills
Key Requirements:
- CNC vertical mill/VMC setup and operating experience
- Ability to set up, program, and run CNC machinery
- Knowledge of G-code, tooling, offsets, and machine adjustments
- Ability to read blueprints and use micrometers/calipers
- Experience machining carbon steel; oilfield/valve machining a plus
- SMART Machine Tool SV-5 or similar CNC vertical mill experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Shifts:
- Monday - Friday
- 7:00am - 4:00pm
- 1 hr unpaid lunch
- Temp to Hire
