Assistant Project Manager Multifamily ConstructionSeeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of a large ground up multifamily residential construction project. The role works closely with the Project Manager and field team to coordinate project activities, subcontractors, vendors, procurement, documentation, scheduling, budgeting, and project controls from startup through closeout.The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail oriented, and experienced with commercial construction and multifamily residential projects.Job Roles and ResponsibilitiesAssist with all phases of construction from project startup through closeoutCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and owner representativesManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, contracts, and project documentationAssist with procurement, budgeting, cost tracking, and monthly requisitionsMonitor project schedules and project milestonesWork with field staff to resolve construction issues and support daily operationsAttend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes and follow up action itemsMaintain accurate project records using Procore and construction management softwareSupport project safety, schedule, budget, quality, and overall project executionQualifications and Certifications5 to 7 plus years of commercial construction experienceStrong ground up multifamily residential construction experienceExperience with projects involving 100 plus residential units strongly preferredKnowledge of construction drawings and specificationsUnderstanding of scheduling, procurement, budgeting, and project controlsProficiency with Procore and Microsoft OfficeStrong communication and organizational skillsStrong problem solving and coordination abilitiesBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferredBenefitsMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision insurance401kProfessional growth opportunitiesMentorshipAdvancement opportunities
