Senior Engineering Program Manager

Job Summary Senior Engineering Program Manager – Operations Innovation – Manufacturing Technology Drive execution of manufacturing technology projects from concept through readiness, partnering with engineers across Centers of Excellence, operating units, and manufacturing sites. Locations Mounds View, MN; Fridley (Operational HQ or Rice Creek), MN; Tempe, AZ; North Haven, CT; Tijuana, MX; Lausanne, Vaud, Switzerland; Parkmore, Galway, Ireland. Key Responsibilities Plan, direct, and implement all aspects of device product or software system design and development. Develop, evaluate, and maintain technical quality assurance and control systems related to materials, techniques, or products. Oversee investigation and evaluation of existing technologies. Guide conceptualization of new methodologies, materials, machines, processes, and products. Direct development of new concepts from initial design to market release. Manage feasibility studies to determine capability. Monitor documentation maintenance throughout R&D phases. Coordinate activities with outside suppliers and consultants for timely delivery. Select, develop, and evaluate personnel for efficient operation of functions. Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 5+ years with an advanced degree in a related field. Technical fluency and program leadership in a matrixed engineering environment. Strong influence, structure, and disciplined execution skills. Experience managing 10% travel to support cross‑functional collaboration. Preferred Qualifications Previous Medtronic experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Solid presentation and computer skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint). Project management skills, experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Effective planning and organization skills, ability to work on multiple objectives simultaneously. Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions. Ability to develop and adapt business processes for a growing organization. Ireland €102,720.00 – €154,080.00. Switzerland CHF 160,000.00 – CHF 240,000.00. Eligible for Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
