Retail Merchandising Specialist - Remote - Richmond, VA

Retail merchandising specialist supporting Cencora's distribution services across the US. The role involves implementing store standards, managing inventory, designing layouts, and collaborating with pharmacy and sales teams. Based in Richmond, VA with significant travel requirements.
Responsibilities
- Implement company standards for store appearance and merchandise display with store staff
- Evaluate stock levels and manage inventory replenishment through ordering and placement suggestions
- Execute product relocation, store resets, and planogram implementation using analytical data
- Remove damaged and outdated merchandise; process returns for qualified locations
- Prepare store layout designs using Visio and maintain activity records in CRM systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or related field
- 2-4 years of progressively responsible merchandising or retail experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Planogram experience and analytical skills
- Ability to travel 30%+ with overnight stays
Compensation: $52,000-$56,800 depending on experience
