Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience License: Valid state license required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Previous experience in the Operating Room - Experience with various surgical procedures - Familiarity with Epic charting system Description: The role involves working in an outpatient operating room setting. Travelers will be expected to float between facilities as needed. Candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar setting. The position primarily involves day shifts, with some variability. No more than 7 days of requested time off are permitted. The facility performs a range of procedures including orthopedics, urology, ENT, and more. Candidates must be comfortable handling various patient age groups from adolescents to geriatrics. Surgical skills in multiple procedures are essential for success in this role. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment is crucial. References will be required prior to the start date. Interviewing and hiring processes will encompass a review of experience and qualifications. Travelers will engage in standard safety and universal protocols. Applicants should prepare for potential holiday work obligations, with an expectation to cover major holidays.
