Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients presenting with pain-related conditions, utilizing diagnostic tools and patient history.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that incorporate both pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.
• Perform a variety of procedures related to pain management, including injections, spinal cord stimulation, and nerve blocks, ensuring adherence to safety standards and protocols.
• Conduct follow-up appointments to evaluate patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide ongoing support and education to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to provide holistic and integrated care for patients.
• Maintain precise documentation in EMR systems to track treatment progress and adhere to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Full prescriptive authority upon employment and DEA certification or eligibility to practice in Nevada.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of pain management principles, including experience with various pain management procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capability to build rapport with patients and effectively collaborate with healthcare teams.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a pain management or surgical setting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in performing interventional techniques such as injections and nerve blocks.
• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate and patient-focused care, particularly for older adults.
• Previous experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

White River Medical Center offers a competitive compensation range of USD 120,000 to 140,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
