Job Description Job Description NOW HIRING: CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT Location: Winston-Salem, NC Pay: $18-$23/hour (Based on Experience) Schedule: Monday-Friday Start Time: Between 8:00 AM - 8:30 AM No Blood Draws Required! Are you a Certified Medical Assistant looking for a stable weekday schedule and the opportunity to gain valuable Gastroenterology experience? Join a busy, well-established GI clinic where you'll work alongside a supportive clinical team and make a meaningful impact on patient care every day. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Room patients and prepare them for provider visits * Obtain and document vital signs * Perform medication reconciliation * Assist with procedure preparation * Administer injections as directed * Collect rectal swab specimens * Maintain accurate patient documentation * Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and patient-ready WHAT TO EXPECT: * Support multiple providers in a fast-paced outpatient setting * Assist with up to 28 patients daily * Dedicated on-site lab team handles all blood draws and phlebotomy * Collaborative and team-oriented environment QUALIFICATIONS: * Active Medical Assistant Certification through: * * NHA * AAMA * AMT Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred Strong multitasking and organizational skills Excellent communication and patient care abilities Ability to thrive in a high-volume clinical setting WHY CANDIDATES LOVE THIS ROLE: * Stable Monday-Friday schedule * Outpatient setting * No phlebotomy responsibilities * Supportive team culture * Opportunity to build specialty GI experience
