Right at Home is seeking compassionate and reliable caregivers to assist a bedbound, non-smoking elderly male client in the Pinch/Elkview area. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing total care and committed to ensuring the comfort, dignity, and well-being of the client.
- Assisting with all personal care needs (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming)
- Turning and repositioning to maintain comfort and prevent skin breakdown
- Utilizing a Hoyer lift safely for transfers
- Preparing simple, nutritious meals
- Performing light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe environment
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Experience with Hoyer lift required
- Previous experience with total assist or bedbound patients preferred
- Dependable, compassionate, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work multiple shifts (daytime, evening, or weekend availability preferred)
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must have own transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years old to apply
- All caregivers get 3 Paid Time Off days for every 1000 hours worked
