Financial Analyst

Financial Analyst ASSA ABLOY is seeking a Financial Analyst to support key reporting, analysis, and operational goals for our Electronic Locks subgroup. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Support Core Financial Processes: Assist with the monthly accrual and close process, ensuring timely and accurate entries. Process customer credits and claims, resolving discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and maintain financial reports and dashboards. Assist with variance analysis and resolve data discrepancies. Team Collaboration and Ad Hoc Support: Provide data and analysis for budgeting, forecasting, and special projects, working closely with senior finance team members to execute assigned tasks. Education and Experience Profile: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field. 1-3 years of experience in a financial analyst or related role (required). Ability to communicate analysis and recommendations to a non-technical audience. Demonstrated eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and processes. Proficiency in Excel, with advanced skills preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a manufacturing or similar operational environment. Familiarity with business forecasting and financial modeling concepts. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams. Basic understanding of P&L components, including revenue, cost of goods sold (COGS), and operating margin.
