Desktop Support Technician

We are looking for a Desktop Support Technician to join our tech support team in Jeffersonville. This role is responsible for providing technical support to the end-user community and associated enterprise applications, network connectivity, desktop infrastructure (both physical and virtual), operating systems, software, hardware, and peripherals. What you'll own Manage incoming request queues for service via ITSM system and prioritize work based on severity. Resolve incidents, service requests, and access requests within agreed service levels through multiple communication channels. Investigate and respond to all support requests following documented processes to restore or fulfill IT services for end users. Assist with maintaining the functionality and efficiency of computers and user objects in Active Directory, including unlocking team member accounts. Prepare desktops and laptops by imaging devices, test them for proper operation, and ensure physical and virtual desktop infrastructure interconnects seamlessly with application servers, print servers, etc. Set up and configure appropriate hardware and software for new team members. Respond to technical issues such as desktop/laptop hardware, peripheral equipment, operating systems and installed software, and follow through to resolution. Begin to service issues related to mobile devices and deliver replacement equipment. Update Asset Management systems with computer hardware and user details. Assist with procurement by identifying hardware part numbers and comparing pricing options. Perform all other duties as assigned. What you'll bring High School Diploma or Equivalent. Experience providing technical support to end users on various devices, operating systems, and peripherals. Bonus: Experience in an Enterprise IT group.
