Job Overview Registered Nurse – Full‑Time – Night Shifts Position at Oak Plains Academy, Ashland City, TN. 3‑12 hour shifts, weekends mandatory, seasonal/temporary 4‑month assignment. To learn more contact View email address on click.appcast.io. Oak Plains Academy is a 98‑bed residential treatment program offering psychiatric services to children and adolescents. The professional team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, therapists, nurses, and teachers. Responsibilities Provide professional nursing care to patients in the treatment program, including ongoing assessment and documentation. Administer medications accurately and maintain documentation as per facility policy. Participate in individual care plan formulation and implementation. Perform proper HWC techniques, ensuring safety of patients and staff. Complete debriefings as indicated. Serve as a role model to staff and students in dress and demeanor. Qualifications Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program and licensed in the State of Tennessee. At least one year of RN experience in behavioral health with children/adolescents or psychiatric inpatient settings. 21 years of age or older. Valid driver’s license in good standing. Successful background check, fingerprinting and employment verification required.
