- # Assistant Nurse ManagerApply: Onsite: Springfield, IL: Full time: Posted Today: R1038883**Pay Range:**$41.58 - $62.37A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.Under the direction of Nursing leadership, the Assistant Manager-Nursing assists in the oversight of functional area(s) of the unit and/or department including: patient care; hiring; transferring; performance improvement; assigning duties; and rewards. Develops general workflows for department/unit and prepares timely operational reports. Develops and administers proper protocols for department and/or unit. Assists in the direct supervision of unit and staff. Is a champion for patient care. Collaborates with other care team providers to assure team provides excellence in patient care. Position Specifics: Department: CVICU Core Function: Leadership Schedule: Night Shift: Two 12 hour shifts as charge nurse in unit; Two 8 hour administrative days with flexible shifts Facility: St. John's Hospital Location: Springfield, IL Compensation: Compensation that aligns with your experience**Education Qualifications*** Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.* Bachelor’s of science in nursing is preferred.**Experience Qualifications*** 2 years staff nurse (RN) in an acute setting is required.* 2 years experience in a charge nurse, lead nurse, or related position is preferred.**Certifications, Licenses and Registrations*** Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
