Role Description This full-time, on-site Registered Representative Financial Advisor role is based in Jersey City, NJ. The advisor will focus on developing and managing client relationships, providing tailored investment and financial planning solutions, and maintaining ongoing communication to support client goals.

Daily responsibilities include prospecting and onboarding new clients, conducting portfolio reviews, assessing risk tolerance, and recommending appropriate investment and wealth management strategies. The role involves staying current with market developments, firm product offerings, and regulatory requirements while collaborating with internal teams to deliver comprehensive client service. The advisor is expected to build and expand a book of business, meet production and asset growth targets, and uphold the highest standards of ethics and compliance.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong client relationship management skills, including the ability to build trust, communicate complex financial concepts clearly, and maintain long-term advisory relationships.
• Candidates should possess financial planning and investment advisory skills, such as portfolio construction, asset allocation, risk assessment, and knowledge of investment products across asset classes.
• Candidates should possess business development and sales skills, including prospecting, networking, generating referrals, and consistently meeting production and asset growth objectives.
• Candidates should possess regulatory and compliance skills, including active FINRA registrations (e.g., Series 7 and Series 63/65/66 or equivalent), a clean compliance record, and familiarity with SEC/FINRA rules and firm policies.
• Candidates should possess analytical and research skills to evaluate markets, investment opportunities, and client portfolios, and to prepare clear, data-driven recommendations.
