PharmacistWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pharmacist to join our team at a 94-bed hospital. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the medication management process, ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals within the healthcare setting.Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to patient care by providing accurate medication information and ensuring appropriate patient medication therapy management.Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize treatment plans based on clinical evidence.Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.Monitor patient responses to medications, conducting follow-up as necessary.Educate patients and their families on medication use, potential side effects, and interactions.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.Provide consultation and recommendations to healthcare providers regarding drug therapy.Shift InformationThis position requires flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends, including holiday coverage as necessary.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience as a Pharmacist.Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is required.Valid pharmacist license in the state of practice.If you are a passionate and experienced Pharmacist looking to make a difference in patient care, we encourage you to apply and be part of our dedicated healthcare team.
