Job Overview Work Location: Merrick, New York, United States of America Hours: 40 Pay Details: $27.75 - $41.50 USD Line of Business: Personal & Commercial Banking Responsibilities Serve as the primary contact for a complex client portfolio of mass affluent clients, managing their complete banking relationship and connecting them to specialists. Grow, deepen, and retain client relationships by delivering TD’s model of convenience, sales, and advice and differentiating with a personalized, connected experience. Demonstrate proficiency in banking and credit products, and fluently explain solutions while acting as a liaison with internal partners across small business, wealth, commercial, and lending. Acquire, retain, and deepen relationships through converting referrals, leads, and outbound prospecting. Proactively engage in client outreach (phone, e‑mail, appointments, etc.) and conduct needs‑based conversations, review financial information, and suggest appropriate solutions. Deliver excellent client service, review moderately complex client concerns, and escalates banking‑related issues or risks when appropriate. Adhere to all relevant Retail/Wealth policies, procedures, FINRA, and regulatory banking requirements. Facilitate loan‑product conversations, application intake, and maintain an active registration status with NMLS. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with partners to identify areas for deepening in wealth, commercial, small business, and lending. Provide coaching and feedback to bank staff on effectively articulating program value and making premier referrals. Implement and maintain TD’s Client Identification Program (CIP) and comply with AML due‑diligence requirements. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. Minimum 2 years of financial/banking experience. Successful completion of the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam strongly preferred. Life & health license preferred. Experience with retail and small business banking and interaction with mass affluent and high‑net‑worth clients. Maintain an active registration status with NMLS upon hire. Consultative sales experience required. Physical Requirements Perform sedentary work continuously, operating standard office equipment, and responding quickly to sounds. Occasional standing, walking, reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs. No domestic or international travel required.
