The Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here.Job SummaryThe Dir, Shared Services is responsible for the overall direction of the Shared Services teams, and supervises the managers of each team, including Accounts Payable, Payroll, Billing, Cash Management and Accounting Services. This position works closely with other corporate functional teams as well as field-based finance and operations teams to efficiently complete business transactions within the BrightView internal control structure.Duties and Responsibilities:Direct the overall Shared Services Team, in support of business process initiatives and BrightView objectives.Supervise Shared Services Managers in support of their various teams.Support training to Shared Services Team members in all aspects of business processes and procedures.Establish metrics and/or KPI’s relative to Shared Services processes and work directly with Manager to develop process improvement opportunities.Oversee the support of the Corporate Accounting function by performing account reconciliations, journal entries and general support for the financial close process.Oversee support for other financial and administrative activities as needed.Education and Experience:Undergraduate degree, or equivalent work experience, in Accounting or Business required.15 or more years of proven business process and systems experience. An excellent knowledge of business processes and systems.Excellent leadership, critical thinking, communication, and team building skills required.Experience with shared services a plus.Other preferred capabilities:Ability to execute and follow-through to completion.Strong results orientationProven ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and professionalismProven capability to drive change in transformational periodsHigh degree of problem solving and decision-making, even in ambiguous situationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to communicate and build strong relationships with colleagues, direct reports, supervisors, and external consultants.Ability to hold oneself and others accountable to clear standards of service excellence in an increasingly dynamic environment.
