About the Role As a Growth Planning Manager, you will be part of the Growth Marketing team, sitting at the intersection of growth and marketing while collaborating with Finance and CDI (Analytics) teams. You will collaborate with several teams to design long‑term business strategies, track impactful initiatives that increase subscriber growth, and coordinate comprehensive budget allocations to deliver maximum return on investment. You will combine data inference with creative execution to provide business recommendations for market and regional dynamics, marketing channels, attribution, and content‑driven consumer platforms. Core Areas of Responsibility Strategic Investment Planning and Budget Leadership: drive the orchestration of marketing investments, business planning, and executive reporting across brand, performance, and lifecycle teams. Budget Forecasting & ROI Optimization: drive budget forecasting and tracking, scenario planning, and performance reporting in partnership with CDI and Finance. Performance Intelligence & Incrementality Strategy: design and execute incrementality tests, translate outcomes into actionable spend shifts, develop insights from attribution and media mix models, monitor key metrics, and analyze budget deployment based on the content calendar. AI & Marketing Innovation Leadership: support integration of AI and machine learning into marketing decision‑making, partner with MarTech and CDI to operationalize AI tools, and identify and execute innovation pilots with potential to scale across Sony’s ecosystem. Interdepartmental Enablement & Leadership Support: work with Growth teams to drive alignment on priorities, budgets, and business plans, and develop and lead executive‑level communications, weekly business reviews, and board‑level decks. About You 8+ years of experience with data analysis, advanced analytics, statistics, experimentation, and optimization. Experience with SQL and Python. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau. Experience designing incrementality tests and inference models. Experience translating data to build business strategies and plans for financial modelling, forecasting, and allocation. Experience building compelling and actionable presentations directed at an executive‑level audience. Experience working with Growth, Marketing, Finance, and Analytics teams. Experience using AI and integrating LLMs into marketing decision‑making. Experience working in a globally matrixed organization. BS in Analytics, Quantitative, or equivalent degree. About the Team The Growth Planning and Budget Allocation team will be responsible for planning, tracking, and allocating budgets across Brand, Performance Marketing, and Lifecycle Marketing teams. They work with CDI, Finance, Growth, Marketing, and Regional teams to level up budget planning, subscriber and free‑trial forecasting, and initiative tracking processes.
