Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate across a broad range of surgical specialties including Robotics, Orthopedics, General, GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and Trauma
• Operate and assist with Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system , functioning independently without refresher training
• Fulfill on-call obligations within a 6-week matrix, with a 30-minute response time required
• Participate in weekend shifts (days, evenings, or nights) and holiday coverage as needed within the 6-week matrix
• Float to other areas and care for patients as needed, including those with infectious conditions
• Complete required pre-start modules prior to assignment begin date

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with no license violations — no exceptions
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room experience
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Must be independently proficient in all listed surgical specialties with no need for refresher training
• BLS certification through AHA or ARC only
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with the Da Vinci 5 (DV5) robotic system in addition to the Da Vinci Xi
• EPIC electronic health records experience strongly preferred
• Ability to both scrub and circulate proficiently
• Experience across robotic general, GYN, thoracic, and urology specialties
