TDS CGT-Viral Vector Development Co-Op

$23.5 - $52.5 per hour

Johnson & Johnson seeks a motivated co-op student to support viral vector process development for cell and gene therapies. The six-month position involves hands-on laboratory work on upstream and downstream manufacturing processes, with exposure to process analytics and experimental design.

Responsibilities

Support viral vector process development in laboratory and analytical settings
Execute upstream and downstream process development studies under senior scientist direction
Analyze and interpret experimental data using analytical and statistical tools
Participate in Design of Experiments activities and technical discussions
Maintain laboratory notebooks and documentation per regulatory requirements

Requirements

Completed freshman year at accredited university
Currently pursuing bachelor's, master's, or PhD in biology, molecular biology, microbiology, engineering, or related field
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in laboratory
Permanent U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship required
No conflicting employment or internship commitments January-June 2027

Compensation: $23.50-$52.50 per hour
