Qualifications/expectations as a Unit Clerk:
- Collect, assemble, check and file resident charts
- Schedule appointments for residents
- maintain medical records in accordance with federal and state guideline
- respond timely to requests for medical records for current and past residents
- ensure all resident charts are complete including doctor signatures
- return incomplete charts to nursing
- maintain physician credentials for current and new doctors
- copy charts as requested
- assist nursing unit with clerical functions as needed
- other duties as assigned
Full Time Mon-Fri 8am to 4pm
