Nurse - LPN/LVN/RN

Job Title

We offer comprehensive substance abuse treatment with a focus on Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) in a welcoming outpatient setting.

Our Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) licensure includes MAT, medically monitored psychiatric care, individual therapy, group therapy (IOP), 6-day-per-week nursing care, and ongoing aftercare. Most of our patients receive Buprenorphine products, but we also offer Methadone and any other FDA-approved medication for addiction.

Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Director of Nursing, Medical Provider, clinical staff, and Program Director in treatment decisions.
• Dispensing medications and ensuring appropriate medical care for patients in recovery.
• Daily interactions with patients to support their health and well-being.
• Monitor patient's vital signs, maintain accurate records, and collect blood samples.
• Administer injectable medications, educate clients on side effects, and obtain pre-authorizations.
• Administer and document results of PPD, pregnancy tests, tuberculosis screening tests, and drug screens.
• Maintain inventory counts of medicines and medical supplies, and ensure timely replacements.
• Follow Symetria policies, state regulations, federal guidelines, and DEA regulations.
• Perform all duties according to work schedule and as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current and valid LVN, LPN, or RN license with no restrictions and licensed within the state of Texas.
• 1-year+ experience as an LVN, LPN, or RN.
• Experience dispensing, handling, ordering, and stocking medications.
• Experience working in a substance abuse treatment or behavioral health setting preferred.
• Experience using KIPU or other EMR.
• Knowledge of addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders preferred.
• Knowledge of recovery process and terminology preferred.
• This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with a schedule of: Monday-Thursday from 10:00am-6:00pm; Fridays 6:00am-2:00pm; alternating Saturday mornings from 6:30am-9:00am.

Compensation for this position is based on market analysis and will be determined by additional factors such as location/state, skills, years of experience, relevant credentials, and education. The posted compensation range for this role is $27.00 to $30.00 per hour.
