Job Details Location: Washington, DC (Zip: 20020) Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 07/13/2026 Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse license in District of Columbia, two years of labor and delivery experience, BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification, current electronic fetal monitoring (AWHONN - Intermediate) certification, experience with Cerner and Fetalink documentation, must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, on‑call responsibilities including one shift per week. Preferred Qualifications: Labor with postpartum experience preferred. Additional Information: The activity on the unit includes admissions, discharges, transfers, pre‑op, and deliveries (vaginal and Cesarean). The patient population includes females of childbearing age, pregnant women in the second trimester, and those with scheduled procedures such as C‑sections and external cephalic versions.
