Registered Nurse Unit Manager

RN Unit Manager – Skilled Nursing FacilityThe Hamlet Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center at Nesconset is seeking an experienced and compassionate RN Unit Manager to oversee clinical operations on one of our nursing units. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of resident care while leading and supporting nursing staff in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment.The ideal candidate is a strong clinical leader who is hands-on, organized, and passionate about long-term care excellence.RN Unit Manager Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily clinical operations of assigned nursing unitSupervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs)Ensure compliance with NYSDOH, CMS, and facility policiesParticipate in survey preparation, response, and follow-upConduct clinical audits and ensure accurate documentationCoordinate care plans with interdisciplinary teamMonitor quality indicators, infection control, and resident outcomesAddress resident and family concerns promptly and professionallyAssist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as neededRN Unit Manager QualificationsActive New York State RN license (required)Minimum 2 years experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term carePrevious leadership or charge nurse experience preferredStrong knowledge of NYSDOH and CMS regulationsExcellent communication, organizational, and leadership skillsEMR experience (PointClickCare preferred)Salary: Up to $115,000 per year (based on experience)What We OfferCompetitive benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401k)Paid time off and holidaysSupportive leadership teamGrowth opportunities within a respected healthcare organizationAn Equal Opportunity EmployerINDRN
