As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Unit in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter incidents, and support security-related operations with professionalism and strong communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel and/or public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, permits, and/or visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures while reporting suspicious behavior or policy violations.
• Support incident response by assisting with alarms, medical calls, evacuations, and/or other urgent events, while maintaining professional communication with site contacts and first responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• An armed guard card/license is required.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma/GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess 2+ years of law enforcement/military/corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
