Plumbing Service Tech

Duties Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in both new construction and existing structures Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for pipe threading, fitting installation, welding, and assembly tasks Perform heavy lifting of equipment and materials while adhering to safety protocols Conduct remodeling and remodeling-related plumbing work to upgrade or replace existing systems Diagnose mechanical issues related to plumbing infrastructure Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and inspections completed for each project Requirements Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing codes and safety standards Hands-on experience with construction site work, including heavy lifting and working at heights or confined spaces Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting tasks Familiarity with carpentry skills useful for remodeling or assembly projects. Strong problem-solving skills with maintenance person experience or general remodeling background preferred Ability to work independently or as part of a team on construction sites while maintaining high safety standards #J-18808-Ljbffr
