Job Summary

Senior Product Manager – Inventory Audit Product at Target. Location: Sussex County, USA. This role focuses on leading the product strategy and execution for the store’s inventory audit software, driving inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the product journey for the Inventory Audit product, defining vision, roadmap, and OKRs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineers, UX designers, data scientists, and business stakeholders) to deliver features that simplify daily inventory adjustments for store associates.
• Maintain a shared product backlog, prioritizing epics, user stories, and technical tasks that maximize business impact and financial reporting accuracy.
• Leverage data analytics and ML/AI insights to streamline inventory change processes and meet operational and financial objectives.
• Act as the voice of the product for stakeholders, ensuring alignment between customer needs and business strategy.
• Champion a culture of data‑driven decisions, continuous improvement, and open communication across teams.
• Adapt product priorities in response to shifting business needs while staying focused on delivering high‑value outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of product management or related experience in retail, operations, inventory, or product lifecycle management.
• Experience with agile development practices (sprint planning, backlog refinement, user story creation).
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
• Comfortable converting data insights into actionable product decisions.
• Preferred knowledge of inventory accuracy sampling methods and statistical techniques.

Location & Work Arrangement

Sussex County, USA. This position may be performed in a hybrid (on‑site and virtual) or remote capacity, depending on Target’s needs and performance of the candidate.

Compensation

• Annual salary range: $109,000.00 - $196,200.00 USD (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
