Roofing Project Manager

Job Roles and Responsibilities Travel to local NY,NJ projects, as well as to out of state projects and be on-site through the duration of the project. Lead commercial roofing projects on-site from mobilization through closeout Manage multiple active projects simultaneously across different locations Coordinate daily field operations, crews, subcontractors, and site logistics Develop and maintain project schedules and production timelines using scheduling tools Serve as primary point of contact for clients, GCs, vendors, and internal teams Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and technical drawings Manage RFIs, change orders, submittals, and full project documentation lifecycle Oversee procurement, material tracking, and delivery coordination Conduct site inspections and enforce OSHA compliance and safety protocols Ensure adherence to project budgets, schedules, and quality standards Utilize construction management platforms (Procore, Bluebeam or similar) for documentation and communication Prepare daily reports, progress updates, and field documentation Resolve field issues, scope changes, and client concerns in real time Qualifications and certifications 3-5+ years of commercial roofing or heavy construction project management experience Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, BUR, Modified Bitumen, metal systems) Proven ability to manage field crews and subcontractors on active job sites Strong blueprint reading and construction document interpretation skills Hands-on experience with contracts, RFIs, submittals, and project coordination Familiarity with scheduling tools (Primavera P6 preferred or equivalent) Experience with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar) Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and jobsite compliance Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills Ability to manage multiple projects while traveling extensively Valid driver's license with clean driving record Nice to Have OSHA 30 Certification Experience with HeavyBid or other estimating tools Experience working with general contractors and property management firms Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred.
