We are seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Food & Beverage to lead all aspects of our hotel’s dining and beverage operations. What You'll Do As Director of Food & Beverage, you will oversee all food and beverage operations while partnering with hotel leadership to deliver exceptional experiences and achieve business goals. Responsibilities include: Provide strategic and operational leadership for all hotel food and beverage outlet, including restaurant, bar, banquet, and event operations. Create a welcoming, energetic atmosphere that reflects the Canopy brand and the spirit of Memphis. Lead, coach, and develop food and beverage leaders and hourly team members to deliver exceptional hospitality. Drive revenue growth through innovative programming, local partnerships, events, and guest engagement strategies. Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, labor management, food and beverage costs, and profitability. Establish and maintain service standards that consistently exceed guest expectations. Partner with culinary leadership to develop menus, promotions, seasonal offerings, and memorable dining experiences. Analyze operating results and implement strategies to improve revenue, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Oversee inventory management, purchasing, cost controls, and vendor relationships. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations. Build strong relationships with hotel guests, community partners, and local businesses to position the hotel as a neighborhood destination. What We're Looking For 5+ years of progressive food and beverage leadership experience in hotels, restaurants, resorts, or lifestyle hospitality environments. Experience managing multiple outlets and leading both restaurant and banquet operations preferred. Proven ability to drive revenue, improve profitability, and manage financial results. Strong understanding of restaurant operations, service standards, and guest experience strategies. Demonstrated success developing and motivating high‑performing teams. Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to balance creativity with strong operational execution. Experience working in a luxury, upscale, boutique, or lifestyle hospitality environment preferred. Food safety and responsible alcohol service certifications preferred. Why Canopy by Hilton?
