Controller

We’re partnering with a $300M private equity-backed healthcare services organization to hire a Controller for its growing corporate finance team in the Franklin/Brentwood area. This is a true, hands‑on Controller seat reporting into senior finance leadership, with the opportunity to own the accounting function and play a major role in building out and modernizing the company’s finance infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close Lead revenue recognition and technical accounting, including ASC 606 and ASC 842 Oversee multi-entity accounting and consolidated financial reporting Manage the annual audit and external auditor relationships Lead and develop the accounting team Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Drive accounting process, systems, controls, and reporting improvements Support M&A and acquisition integration activities Help centralize and scale the accounting organization Ideal Background Healthcare accounting experience required Prior Controller-level experience with a strong hands-on accounting foundation Strong GAAP, revenue recognition, close, and audit experience Experience managing and developing accounting teams Healthcare revenue cycle / reimbursement exposure strongly preferred EMS/ambulance experience would be particularly attractive Public accounting + industry experience is a plus Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience is highly desirable Schedule: Approximately 4 days per week in office Why Explore It?
