To be considered for this position, applicants MUST provide/include the following: 1. A completed EDJOIN classified application that includes the required experience. Experience: One (1) year of responsible experience in clerical work with some experience in financial or statistical record keeping activities. 2. Certificate of Keyboarding/Typing of 50 net WPM. Test must be a 5 min typing test, conducted in-person. Must be dated within the last 12 months to be valid. Certificate MUST include: Name of organization administering the exam Your name, first and last Date exam was taken (To be accepted, it must be dated within the last 12 months) Certificate must be signed by the proctor of the exam ONLINE KEYBOARDING/TYPING TESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A VALID TYPING CERTIFICATE, YOU WILL TAKE A TYPING EXAM ON THE DAY OF TESTING FOR THIS POSITION. Optional: If you have previously obtained a proof of passing email for this specific position from our district, please include it as a PDF attachment on your application. If you meet the minimum criteria to move forward in this posting and attach a copy of your proof of passing dated within the last 12 months, you may bypass testing. Unless testing is modified. CURRENT EMPLOYEES SHALL REMAIN IN A POSITION FOR AT LEAST ONE (1) YEAR FROM THE BEGINNING DATE OF AN INITIAL PROBATION OR PROMOTIONAL PROBATIONAL PERIOD (PER CONTRACT, ARTICLE 15). Successfully complete the District's competitive hiring process, to include a written test, performance test, interview, background checks, medical exam given by a District-appointed physician (when applicable), and the submission of a Tuberculosis Certificate showing the applicant is free from active tuberculosis within the past 4 years. Prior to employment, all applicants are subject to a fingerprint clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ) and a fee for processing. Authorization of employment will not be granted until the fingerprint clearance from DOJ has been accepted. Applicants who fail to submit all required information will not be considered for employment. All documents MUST be legible. The following documents are required by the deadline date:
