Quality Technician Details: Direct Hire position $ 20.00 / hour Full Time work available First Shift (Monday through Friday) Strong understanding of CNC programming, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and quality inspection processes. CMM Operation (Manual and DCC machines, CMM Manager software). Quality inspection checks 1st piece, hourly, final, last piece, backward recall on non-conforming product and implementing non-conforming product hold tags. Gauge Calibration/ Gage R&R Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Support day-to-day quality and production deliverables and initiatives. Lead teams to support continuous improvement efforts in Bldg 1 and 2 (5S, internal audits, organizational knowledge) Document testing and root cause analysis for internal or external problems. Create Work instructions provide feedback and review Manufacturing issues that emerge through the work and assembly process with QM/ME on the solutions to address the issue. Accomplishes organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Follow quality standards to ensure parts are to the customer and company standards. Work pieces on CMM machine using hand tools and precision measuring instruments Other responsibilities may be added or assumed based on necessity Quality Technician Qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience Knowledge of GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing) Participate in continued education courses as required for new projects and career growth (TQM/CQT/CQE) Knowledge of CMM software, ability to Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, and fixture Applicant may be subject to a background check Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment *A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
