You will be part of a growing team that works on both client- and server-side technologies, and you will have the opportunity to grow and develop professionally within the Fidelity organization.The Expertise We’re Looking For:5+ years’ experience in software quality engineeringExperience creating test automation solutions in tools and frameworks such as Cucumber, Fitnesse, Selenium, TestNGExperience with continuous integration practices and automated deployment toolsProficient in Java or equivalent software languagesGood level of SQL and database knowledgeFamiliar with some of the following: Spring/Spring Boot, Angular, RESTful servicesExperience with Agile methodologies and practicesExcellent communication skills (oral and written)The Purpose of Your Role:Contribute to the QA automation strategy for our applications, to enable rapid delivery of key customer featuresWork collaboratively with engineering and business colleagues to help define acceptance criteria and derive release testing requirementsDesign, implement and complete functional and regression test cases/suites that ensure an application build is ready for releaseReproduce, debug, and isolate problems and verify fixesDevelop minor application features in Java and/or AngularThe Skills You Bring:You understand all aspects of testing (unit testing, integration testing, acceptance testing, etc.)You promote Agile development practices and actively participate in all facets of the delivery processYou have phenomenal attention to detail and a passion for qualityYou can resolve issues proactively and/or identify approaches to solutionsYou are collaborative in your approach, actively contributing to how work gets completedYou can work independently with minimal guidanceDesire to provide outstanding product support at all stages, including on-call support, when necessaryThe Value You Deliver:Focus on customer: Demonstrate understanding of customer's business domainContinuously improve technical competency: Demonstrate knowledge and application of current technologiesModel Fidelity's Values: Honesty & Integrity, Employee Respect, Quality & ExcellenceHow Your Work Impacts the Organization:The Fidelity Institutional business is embarking on a multi-year strategic initiative to bolster the digital experience and improve security capabilities for our customers.Covid work policy: Safety is our top priority.
