Position Overview

We are seeking a Mechanic to support automotive and equipment repair operations. This position is open to all experience levels , including individuals who have hands-on mechanical ability, enjoy working with tools, or have automotive hobbyist experience-even if they have not worked professionally as a mechanic before. Candidates with automotive mechanic knowledge tend to be successful in this role.

This position requires someone who can work independently , travel to customer locations, and complete repairs with minimal supervision. The schedule includes four 10-hour shifts (Monday-Thursday) plus 8-hour overtime on Fridays .

A valid driver's license , clean driving record , and the ability to pass a drug screen and background check (including DMV) are required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on vehicles and industrial equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and complete repairs efficiently.
• Travel to customer sites for scheduled service and on-site troubleshooting.
• Work independently while maintaining safety, accuracy, and professionalism.
• Maintain documentation and communicate service updates to leadership.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and keep work areas organized.

Skills Needed

• Strong mechanical aptitude-professional, hobbyist, or hands-on experience.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Effective communication and ability to follow instructions.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Time-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

Knowledge Required

• Basic understanding of automotive or mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, or diagnostic tools.

• Willingness to learn new repair techniques and equipment systems.

Ability to Implement

• Perform mechanical tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Troubleshoot issues and identify practical solutions.
• Follow repair procedures and adapt to varying customer needs.
• Maintain safe work habits both in the shop and in the field.
• Manage workload and field assignments with minimal supervision.
