You will collaborate directly with production, construction, welding, quality, vendors, and project squads to observe your blueprints transform into finished commodities.Demonstrated experience in commercial or industrial boiler design engineering is highly preferred. Engineers with substantial ASME pressure vessel design experience, specifically related to engineered-to-order industrial machinery, who aspire to apply their proficiencies to commercial and industrial boiler systems are also urged to apply.If your history involves firetube boilers, watertube boilers, steam generation systems, or industrial hot water boilers, you will have the chance to craft highly engineered systems from concept to completion while partnering with seasoned engineering and manufacturing specialists.Reasons to Pursue This PositionBase pay ranging from $100,000 to $150,000 plus annual bonuses based on background, experience, and qualifications.Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer contribution, paid time off, and holidays.Design intricately engineered, personalized commercial and industrial boiler systems.Witness the progression of your designs from conception to construction and production.Opportunity to shape future products while advancing to a technical leadership role.Stable, reputable manufacturing firm with relocation support.ResponsibilitiesDevise firetube boiler systemsEstablish watertube boiler systemsCreate steam boiler systemsDevelop industrial hot water boiler systemsConstruct pressure-holding componentsFashion boiler pressure componentsDesign mechanical piping systemsFabricate engineered-to-order industrial machinery in accordance with the ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel CodeTasksConceptualize commercial and industrial boiler systems from inception to production.Conduct thermal, structural, and mechanical engineering computations.Formulate engineering illustrations, computations, specifications, and parts lists.Assist with manufacturing, construction, inspection, testing, and initiation operations.Ensure conformity with relevant ASME protocols and client requirements.Cooperate with manufacturing, quality control, production, project management, and supply chain.Solve engineering and production impediments while introducing pragmatic design resolutions.Back continuous enhancements and new product developments.Offer technical guidance and mentor other engineers (Senior Engineer).Evaluate, authorize, and consent to engineering documents (Senior Engineer).QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering domain.Preferably possess experience in commercial or industrial boiler design engineering.Familiarity with ASME Sections I and IV is preferred; familiarity with Section VIII is also advantageous.Experience with pressure-holding gear, welding, construction, and engineered-to-order manufacturing.Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD.Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
