Overview
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Skilled Carpenter to join our team in Spring Lake, NC, 28390. If you have a passion for woodworking and a keen eye for detail, this is the perfect opportunity for you! As a Skilled Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in bringing our projects to life, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail in every task.
Responsibilities- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using various hand and power tools.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including installation and construction.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and measuring instruments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a carpentry apprenticeship is a plus.
