What You’ll Do Perform carpentry work on residential remodeling projects, including kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, and whole‑home renovations Assist with framing, finish carpentry, trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, and other remodeling work Read and work from construction plans, drawings, and specifications Work alongside experienced carpenters and project managers to keep projects moving Maintain clean, safe, and organized jobsites Identify jobsite challenges and work with the team to find practical solutions Communicate professionally and respectfully with homeowners and coworkers Continue developing your carpentry and remodeling skills through hands‑on experience and training What We’re Looking For A few years of hands‑on carpentry, residential remodeling, or construction experience Solid foundational carpentry skills with an interest in continuing to grow Familiarity with construction plans and drawings Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Dependable, team‑oriented approach Strong communication and problem‑solving skills Personal hand tools Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Bonus Qualifications Residential remodeling experience Finish carpentry experience Experience with light plumbing or electrical work Interest in energy‑efficient or sustainable building practices What Success Looks Like Successful Carpenters At Chads Design Build Produce quality work and continue improving their craftsmanship Complete assigned work safely and efficiently Help projects stay on schedule through reliability and communication Maintain clean and organized jobsites Build positive relationships with homeowners and teammates Ask questions, learn from experienced team members, and take increasing ownership of their work Pay & Benefits $35-$38 per hour, based on experience and skill level Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with 4% company match Profit‑sharing opportunities Tool stipend Company cell phone Paid holidays and Paid Time Off Potential company vehicle Ongoing training and career development Why Chads Design Build?
